Mickie - these are GORGEOUS!!!!

This is where we feel the season - the bloom tells us that Spring is here, and now! The snow has melted, the growth as progressed beyond mere sprouts. The sun is stronger and the flowers are growing. In the four-season climate, this is the best season - change has come in spirit as well as flora!

Those fringed tulips are especially luscious, Mickie!

The seeker of ruby and red
Will not let green go to her head;
Instead she will seek
Her senses to pique
With cherry and crimson instead.

Hi there _ I had a look at your blog a few times before and this is the first time I noticed the ladybird / ladybug in the flower in your header - what nice find!

Fabulous tulips! Blessings :)

Wow, your new header gives me puncy freshness of sring. A ladybird plunges itself into the flower and enjoys nectar... spring is sprung. The flowers in this post are all my favorites, I can'd decide which is the best. Thank you for sharing, Mickie.

I love the first tulip-pic! The others are very pretty too, but the first one is my favorite:)

Beautifully photographed! I like the glimpse of the lake and lily pads in
the background, waiting for their time to bloom.

Your flowers are just stunning. I don;t have too many blooming out here in West Texas..and what few I DO have, the hot dry winds are whipping them to death.
Thanks so much for coming by.
Believe me, we don't set the table very pretty most of the time.. Mr. Sweet and myself would just as soon have a paper plate and a red solo cup. That's awful but....we get lazy around here when there's just the 2 of us. But, oh boy, when someone is coming for a meal, I love making things all pretty.:))
