This is the River Walk in San Antonio, Texas. Lovely place to stroll by the river, enjoy the beautiful vegetation, shop, and eat at one of the many fabulous restaurants ( Saltgrass Steak House is my favorite--or is it Casa Rio- or is it Rita's?????).

Oh, that's one of my favorite places, Mickie! I taught school in San Antonio and lived there after I married until my husband went to Vietnam. Your photo brought back lots of lovely memories! Have a wonderful weekend!

What a relaxing spot to walk - and in the shade! Lived in Waxahachie once (20 m. from Dallas) to go to college there -good memories:)

I used to live in Dallas, so spent a lot of weekends in San Antonio. Love the River Walk, and the food. Each time I go back to Texas, I have to eat at Salt Grass. My favorite! Wonderful reflection shot.

What a lovely river walk capture. I always wonder what river these are trying to reach on their way to the sea. Around my area we have mainly creek walks, but they are very nice, too.
