The flora is lush here, the lily pad sitting perfectly on the still pool. To meditate and reflect, we need a place where it is calm and nature so beautiful that we forget our cares, relax and breathe. This is the perfect spot! Very lovely views

It is like a mini Monet! The dappled light is lovely.

Shadows, reflections, and blooming water lilies...for what more could a photographer ask? It is the perfect setting for this lovely capture. I really enjoy all of your comments. Thanks for all of your faithful visits. Hugs.

Looking at the lily pond photo is making me yawn--it's such a pleasantly restful scene!

MY BLINGLESS SHADOW

A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
It might have a nose or a wing,
A tail like a dog,
A bump like a log,
But one thing it has not is bling!

wow so summer like looking.
Will be awhile befor our trees even leaf out. After 1st of June.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I found it really unusual to find a glacier lily blooming in a sagebrush habitat. They are found right at melting snow banks at subalpine and alpine regions. And yep. They are a hardy plant.

Hi Mickie,

Everything is so beautiful ... all that you have posted this week. I love the green of the water garden, the purple of the Iris and the birdy in black and white.

Thanks for blessing us with your photography,

Kathy M.
