Hi Mickey, These are some great summertime photos! And I do know how difficult it is to get great butterfly pics like those you have here today. Those pictures reminded me of my visit to a butterfly farm … yes, there really are such things : - ) … If you look in my archive I posted about that on March 29, 2014. Your sunset and flower pics are also excellent. I haven’t posted on SkyWatch Friday for a while now. I suppose it’s because I’ve been focusing my blog on things from my collection of vintage memorabilia related to the Pacific Northwest, Yellowstone National Park, or railroads. I will try to work in some photos for SkyWatch soon. Your blog is great … thanks for sharing. John

That butterfly shot is amazing! Well, they all are. I especially like the sunset through the cornfield.

Mickie, you have really captured the beauty of summer in this gorgeous series of photographs! There is such beauty to be seen if only people would take the time to look at their surroundings. The buckeye butterfly is a real stunner! Fantastic details captured in the pretty wings. All are wonderful! This sunny post certainly brought a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing!

Oh Mickie, if I saw this red bird around here I'd stop and stare at it for awhile. I love bird watching, but I usually just see the ordinary birds around like the robin and blue jay. I've always wanted to see the red bird. I think they come in colder climate.

Your nature pictures are the best. Love that little frog.
