Gorgeous.Hibiscus have such huge flowers.I marvel at them, every time I get to see one.
The hibiscus has a wonderful shape, and the pale magenta looks bold and brilliant - a flower that seeks attention, and we happily oblige! The view inside the flower is equally nice, the intricate shadow of the pistil quite artisitic as well. Inside or out, a beautiful flower!
What great color and great shadows. I love how you can verbalize a picture...that's a gift.
Exquisite captures, perfect words and lovely shadow shots for the day! The colors are delightful! What wonderful post for the day, Mickie! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend!Sylvia

Beautiful flower and shadow -- I didn't know that hibiscus would grow in Kansas! I like the second version of the poem best.
What a good contrast with the cute little yellow flower. And awesome close up, a real bees eye view!!
The heart of the hibiscus is open wide, saying, "Come in, come in! I welcome you, and I will soothe your soul."I’M YOUR SHADOWHello, there, I’m your shadow,I tag after you;Whatever you are doing,That is what I do.If you should fling a footballForty yards or more,I’ll be right beside you,Evening the score. If you should flick a boogerFrom your stuffy nose,I will surely do the same—Watch how far it goes! So, friend, be very carefulWhat you say and do—Whatever you are doing,I’ll do just as you!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherShadow on Stone
