Hi, Mickie! These round eyes symbolize mother's love. But, how tender and peaceful the scenery look with her! I love this photo. Have a great week! keiko
Wow..you have some fantastic photos here as I looked around and a beautiful family..We had mourning doves nest here and I always see the fledglings hiding in my garden. They are sweet birds.. Thank you so much for linking up to Nature Notes, it is appreciated...Michelle
I never tire of seeing (and hearing) mourning doves -- we didn't used to have them when we lived in Oregon, but our daughter tells me that they've now moved in and she has them in her yard. Good.

We have some of those here too - they are big birds and they do watch their babies. sandie
Mickie ~ What a lovely shot. The green background is just makes the shot stunning.
I love the doves in our back yard, but I've never seen a nest.
Hi there - splendid picture - I like the little catch-light highlight in the doves eye.
I think sometimes are bound to be busy, but when it moves to all the time I think we should stop to find out why!

I love it when I can get a good shot of a bird in a tree. The lush green surrounding the dove is very nice. As always, love the haiku.
THe Dove looks so beautiful, surrounded by the green leaves. The sparkle in the eye is perfect.
I love to try and get them to answer my dove calls.
