Oh, lovely! I did a sunrise. :) We must have both been watching the sky!
This is a wonderful blend of words and images.
I love sunsets and sunrises and will drive all over town to hunt one down. :-) Yours are stunning!
Oh, Mickie, these are so beautiful! I love the bare branches. Have a wonderful weekend,Kathy
these are simply beautiful! the colors, the silhouette of trees---i love it!
Beautiful sunset photos, - love the delicate tracery of the trees in the foreground.
Beautiful sunset photos. No wonder Dorthy wanted to go home.
Beautiful sunset shots!cheers from Uruguay :)
I like the way you have included the tree branches in the front of the picture - gives it a better sense of scale - I think that the temptation just to shot sky, sky and more sky can lead to colourful, but not always interesting shots. That’s not the case here. Splendid! Stewart M
great shots, reminds me of up here.Gill in Canada

I'm looking forward to spring but I sure am going to miss the bare tree branches. :)I think I might have said it before but it is worth repeating that your writing is truly a gift.Lovely post!
Hi Mickie, that is a gorgeous sunset sky! The silhouetting bushes make a very nice frame too. Little Helmer is doing so well, he a very peaceful and content baby. I've been staying with them this week and it's been such a blessing to be able to follow him so closely through these first days of his life. You're a grandmother too, so you know what I mean. Do yours live close by?
Very pretty, we are just beginning to see buds on our branches.
A beautiful glow!
Two beautiful shots....the sunrises are lovely. I try to capture the sun as it is coming up every morning on my way to school, and i usually shoot from the same pull off spot. It is fascinating that each day the view is totally different. These 2 photos captured the glow and majesty so well. Fine work. Hope you have a great weekend...warm and outside with your camera. Thanks so much for your visit to my blog. G
Your skywatch always tries to inspire me to go out and capture the sunset, one of these nights I will when the sun sets later. Once again, your foreground branches work well to fill the scene.
Some of my favorite shots are with wispy branches framing a landscape. I think they are reaching for the sunset's glow! :)
