Very nice, Mickie! Have a great week!
Nice shadow shot and the description suits it so well.
oooh, nice one! ~becca
That is a great shot of the the shadow of the tres. Beautiful capture of the strength and delicateness of them both within one.Blessings
superbly composed image and lovely haiku
Hi Mickie ... I love this! It is cool how the branches shadows show, but that we don't see the branches themselves.Thank you for the nice things you said about my last post; I appreciate it so much. I hope that you have a wonderful week!Kathy
Sweet shadows! And very nice how you've captured the source of the shadow up close. I enjoyed your poem also :)
belle ombre sur la neige
oh you've captured the essence of this beautiful image so perfectly with your haiku...may we all be aware of the gift it is to know our wholeness.
Your image is wonderful! I like the diagonal composition, and the solid trunk compared with the shadowy branches. I can see a picture of a life in this: one lives, breathes, and acts; and the results reach out to the future.
I love how you've composed what to 'say' along with your photo...all 'witin one'.Today's post Link: Sand Dollars and Sea Drift SeedsThanks for stopping by yesterday... have a glorious day!!
Nice composition, picture and haiku. I like your header, too. Checking my dogwood yesterday I see the beginnings of bloom.
Hi Mickie,I like your title strong and sturdy. It just make me reflect of what's happening around us. We have to be strong and sturdy for our loved ones, friends, etc. Or else we all shattered like pieces. Thanks for the visit.Kim
I love the way you have framed the shadow :-)
have always loved the shadow shots-this is a good one!
Love your post! Very nice shot and words! ***Have a nice and happy week****
I love the way you've framed this with the tree trunk. Nice play of layered textures. And by the way, that's a lovely shot of you and your daughter on the sidebar. You could be sisters.
What an interesting take on this - the rough solid bark in the corner and then the stretching, graceful shadow. Great capture. And I adore the soft puddle reflection of the robins below.
Excellent contrast of themes, colours and ideas.
