                                    In times of peril
                  Determined roots hold firmly
                        Clinging to the faith

I love that you capture the roots as I see them as the foundation of faith. I love trees. Such strength and beauty. They stand in His glory.
Love each one of those pictures Thank you for sharing

At least those roots have something to cling to!

BE MY COMPANION

Come here, my shadow,
Do not delay;
Be my companion,
Show me the way;
Teach me your secrets,
Chant as we go
Of light and darkness—
Make my heart glow!

These trees are massive, with roots that hold firm into the earth. These almost have human characteristics, having limbs that seem to be swinging as arms - sort of like the mean trees that confronted Snow White...

Surefooted, they seem poised to hold on for many generations yet to appear...

These are great! That's so impressive how the tree is growing out like that. Makes for nice shadows, too.

Mickie....Your reflection shots this week are so beautiful. You were waterside just at the right time. The macro of the flowers is awesome. I wanted you to know I tried to comment on another of your posts today, but I got an error message each time I tried. Hope it was just me and not everyone. I cannot remember which post it was because I have been working so hard trying to get caught up on my commenting. School ends in 3 days and then I will have my life back again to PLAY!!!! Genie
