Funny, but at first glance, I thought the turtle is on another water creature. I mistook gnarl of the log for an eye.

This is a lovely series of reflections of nature. You must have had relaxing time while taking pictures. Thank you for sharing, Mickie.

That first shot is stunning in clarity, I hope you are very proud of it :)The heron is wonderful and different, is it white? Btw I have also taken a closer look at your grand children, they are cuties for sure :D...an artists dream :)

you know we used to have that kind of turtle, but he's gotten so big that we were forced to give it to our relatives instead,
it broke my heart for awhile...

...the turtles are SO hard to photograph... I find the just SLIP into the water even when I try and sneak up quietly on them. They must have either great eyesight or hearing....
