Wonderful -- I tried today to get some bee closeups -- haven't downloaded them yet, but already know they won't be this good!

I agree with Ruth above about your header -- I kind of gaze at it and forget why I actually came!

I had a quick go at something like this on friday. It didn't work as well as this because it was off as soon as it arrived. You have to be quick, well done.

I envy people (such as you!) whose cameras are good enough to get right in close to the action!

DON’T LET THAT YELLOW GO TO YOUR HEAD

Don’t let that yellow go to your head!
Simply be glad it’s not puce or red!
Give thanks for the color dear to your heart:
Honey and lemon and cream— a good start!

Hi Mickie,

Wow! Your pictures are the best. I've been scrolling down to see what I've missed ... I really love your butterflies too.

You are inspiring me to get down to business on macros/close-ups, you know.

I hope that your week is going great!

Excellent capture of the bee, Mickie! They are so quick, they are hard to catch!

Great closeup!
I love that you showed us the pulled back shot as well. I like them both.

Lovely images, Mickie! The yellow flowers look open and smiling, giving the bee sweet nectar as well as their scent. They are so bright and generous. Enjoy the rest of the week.
