I wonder if he even knows he has a constant companion?!
A fascinating, watery shadow from an unusual blue fish!
You'd have thought the pond was place of solitude for this fish, to get away from it all (including a sea of larger fish), a place to disappear to. THe shadow, alas, just does not care!
Lovely haiku, and a very unusual shadow.
Gorgeous. And the thought of not being alone is equally gorgeous.
Very nice shot.Have a nice weekend :)
The constant companion is a great way of making friendship endearing. I love your post...and the shadow!! Of course, you always make a perfect post.My shadow this week is of a horn cleat [what you use to tie up a boat at the dock]LINKHope your weekend has treated you well.
Somehow your words and this picture has me singing, Me and My Shadow...lol Love the picture.
I love this!! It's a wonderful shadow shot!
Clever words! I love it.
Great shadows: shadow of a fish on the bottom and shadow of a fin on the fish. I also like the contrast of illuminated part to the dark part. Stay cool and healthy, Mickie.
Fantastic picture! Just amazing. I'd say poor fish, but the picture is just joyuous!
Alone time is great, and I need it as of late..Love the title!
