Closer inspection reveals
Beauty in disguise

This is my favorite... the composition is wonderful and the texture is great. But I think it's the colors and the way it is focused. Just WOW!

I also think I could NEVER cross that bridge in the above post... I would be so nervous. Did you cross it?

These are so cool! I don't think I've ever seen one. I always wondered about that line in "The Night Before Christmas". These guys don't look very downy. In fact, the tops look like a medival weapon. They are beautiful.
