Shadow Shot Sunday - In The Shadows

A trip to the zoo with my grandson on Thursday proved to be fun and gave me an opportunity to take some shots of the animals.   More "lions, tigers, and bears, oh my" coming up in a few days.

How lovely for you and your very cute grandson! Now that's a big gorilla! The facial expression in the last photo is priceless.

Nothing is as much fun as taking a kid that age to the Zoo! I love it -- and am happy you had time to take pictures. Your grandson will love looking back on the pictures and we will all be delighted to share the journey!

I remember taking shots like these when my grandson was about this size - he is now 6ft 3in!! Enjoy today & the rest of the week.

Love those statues and what a cute little guy!
Sometimes I see gorilla photos and they touch my heart - they always look so sad. I truly hope they aren't as sad as they look.

These simians seem to know who is is boss in their enclosure! As for the real ones, they seem so regal as they sit and survey the land. Great shots, and a wonderful grandson...

Awesome! He is so cute. I can't wait to see your other zoo pictures. We sure did enjoy our visit to the Portland Zoo in July. Your gorilla looks much happier than ours did.
