The hibiscus has a wonderful shape, and the pale magenta looks bold and brilliant - a flower that seeks attention, and we happily oblige!

The view inside the flower is equally nice, the intricate shadow of the pistil quite artisitic as well. Inside or out, a beautiful flower!

I love this bright, cheerful hibiscus, Mickie. The shadow on the petal is great. The yellow flowers are good spice. Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful flower and shadow -- I didn't know that hibiscus would grow in Kansas! I like the second version of the poem best.

What a good contrast with the cute little yellow flower. And awesome close up, a real bees eye view!!

The heart of the hibiscus is open wide, saying, "Come in, come in! I welcome you, and I will soothe your soul."

I’M YOUR SHADOW

Hello, there, I’m your shadow,
I tag after you;
Whatever you are doing,
That is what I do.

If you should fling a football
Forty yards or more,
I’ll be right beside you,
Evening the score.

If you should flick a booger
From your stuffy nose,
I will surely do the same—
Watch how far it goes!

So, friend, be very careful
What you say and do—
Whatever you are doing,
I’ll do just as you!

Mickie....I did it! It is not nearly as beautiful as yours, but I gave it a try. Please check it out, because I linked it to your post above. Hugs and thanks for getting me to try something new. Genie
