Awwwwwwwwwwwww, melts my heart these photos do...such a sweet, sweet face and smile. And the nearly platinum blond hair reminds me of my kids long long long ago.

Oh, even innocent angels can be seductive, can't they? :)

I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
(With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)

I had a little shadow
No bigger than my thumb;
I took him to the meadow
And there I gave him rum.

My drunken little shadow
Did weave and bob and pitch;
He stumbled from the meadow
And fell into a ditch!

Wonderful portraits of a lovely young lady. Well done!

I also enjoyed your posts from the botanical gardens...each statue brings long buried almost-memories to mind.

The hair has a platinum blonde glow, the perfect angel looking like one, too. The innocence just flows from her beauty an d shy smile. Precious, she is a divine beauty as the sun and shadows frame her face wonderfully...

What lovely summery portraits.
You lucky thing: having such a sweet girl to play with.

If kids could only stay that cute a tad bit longer than they do. Very sweet!

It's obvious in your photos that you are a very smitten and happy grandmother, Mickie. Isn't it wonderful?

What an exquisite beauty-like an angel...I miss my daughter's when they were little like this, with their blond hair in the sunlight and their fairy grins. Sometimes when they are sleeping, even now as teenagers, I get a glimpse of their innocent toddler faces, even infant faces when they relax....but I wouldn't trade the young women they are becoming for an anything....I love them as much or more now than ever. Still, there is something so magical about that little girl joy.

Hi again....it's Thursday, and I'm trying to catch up on yesterday's comments left for me. I just wanted to say thank you in a big way for your sweet anniversary comment and your happy wishes. I also made a small token graphic for my appreciation...on the top portion of my blog entry for the day!!
