A little scary in a way. Actually, very scary :-) What an amazing thing to capture. Your blog is very varied. Lovely flowers, birds, all sorts. [1jo.co]
I love the peachy pink color of the sun, the beautiful haiku, the silhouetted trees and the blurring of the grasses in the foreground of the last photo. Thank you for sharing he gorgeous pictures!
Great skies - that is a fantastic sun. We had some wild sun colors this week because of the all the wildfires in the region, that's my SWF post for the week.
I do not think anyone could look at these two shots and not believe there was a God. They are beautiful...such lovely coloration. I know you were thrilled with your captures. You did a wonderful job with them. HSF and hope you have a grand weekend...and one that is not TOO hot. Genie PS...Each time I see your banner I think....How could I ever forget her? XOXO Genie
Hi there - splendid sun - I like the first one, but as always I think I like the images where the sun is framed by the trees more. Don’t really know why, but I think something else happening in a picture lifts the whole image.
Me gusta la impresionante imagen del sol, parece que esta tomada la fotografÃa en Japón. Pasaba a dejarte mis saludos y que tengas un buen fin de semana. un abrazo.
This is stunning. What do I say. So beautiful, there is more. Just love your first shot. This is perfect. Tanks for your nice comments and a nice weekend to you.

Oh, Mickie, these are spectacular! The third one is my favorite. I posted some Kansas clouds today, that I took last fall.
Have a great weekend,

RED SKY IN MORNING
Red sky in morning,
Sailors take warning!
Who knows what might happen out on the sea?
Waves riding high,
Waves to the sky,
Waves crashing and dashing all over me!
Red sky at night,
Sailors delight!
Leeward or windward we sail with no fear;
Water is calm,
Healing like balm—
Ahoy, fellow sailors, landfall is near!

That is an awe-inspiring capture of the sun. I heard there were eruptions on the sun recently and maybe that has caused the more orange appearance.
Nice
Oh Mickie, these are truly magnificent photos...how glorious to witness such moments with your own blessed eyes!
Great colour!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Are you seeing the effects of the Arizona fires, I wonder? We are experiencing skies that look a lot like this.
