The Weekend in B&W- Forged in Steel

Forged in tempered steel
        Unsurpassed by any force
                Bond of Mother Child

                                                 In strong loving arms
Child's world holds no pain or fear

The lighting on this one has me mesmerized.

I like the lighting too. Perfect composition, with the small window in the dark area to balance everything.

Mickie...love your header shot. Wow! I wish I could write text to go with my photos the way you do. Well done. You are really something with those macro shots. What kind of camera do you have?

Thanks for all your visits.

I really do adore this statue! And I love it in black and white with all the texture (bricks, leaves, flowers - even the reflected window). Where is this and do you know who the sculptor is (was).?
